How big does this wave look to you????? The peak is out of the pic even...
Pictures are decieving. I would say its about 8'-10'.
Here are pics. from my home break, one on a big day and one when it was super clean. This place breaks on a shallow reef, like 3 feet max. Its a miniature version of pipeline on the west coast. I almost died here once.
I hate wind n sea, too many people for a wave that is good once in a blue moon. Come down on a good SW swell and hit big rock on a rising tide and you wont be disappointed.
Well, we had 25 footers at Teirra on News years eve. So that looks about half that height So I guess 12'. Nice little mini dredger. Sweet and fun!
Well, you guys got some kick ass surf, but what about us MN boys... We got some alright stuff here once in a great while... What size do you think that lake surf is?

Size does not matter. I still have the best memories of that jetty ride. I'll be back some day. A lot of planets have to line up, but it'll happen.
