It was twice that size on the outer break...

Guessing that guy is about 6' tall. I guess that wave is like 12-15' face

Pictures are decieving. I would say its about 8'-10'.
Here are pics. from my home break, one on a big day and one when it was super clean. This place breaks on a shallow reef, like 3 feet max. Its a miniature version of pipeline on the west coast. I almost died here once.

rode surf for the first time in my life on saturday, pulled my first barrel roll as well.
it was about 4-6 maybe even 7 and we were doin mile 20 foot nose stabs and stuff(thats what it felt like! so maybe bigger or smaller).
i saw a rouge wave which i couldnt see over the top of by a long shot and i ******** my pants and just rode it in!
if i saw that think i wouldnt know what to do!
if you ride that size then all my respects to u and if u ride double that then i should just quit skiing lol.

we rode that weekend Paul, but were in the wrong spot. That was the day I realized Ponce won't handle the biggest wave you can throw at it.

I don't even go there anymore for big stuff... I go to the "other spot"

yeah.. it does break nice there, don't get me wrong, but it won't handle the biggest.
