Super Jet Carbon Fiber OEM Style Hood, Who Makes One?

I'm looking for a carbon fiber, oem look hood for my 2009 SJ that I'm itching to do a kawi 1100 conversion to. I'd like to take weight off the nose so I'm looking for a lightweight / carbon fiber hood. Looking for a used one, but also there seems to be a few companies that make them but aren't responsive.

Precision Hitec Xtreme (phxfab.com): make a super nice design with a bunch of intakes.
Waterdawg Kustomz: have one listed on their website but I have heard they don't make them anymore
Rpot: older company, not sure if they are still around.

Anyone aware of other companies out there that produce them? I'm going to keep trying with Precision and Waterdawg.

R&D still shows one on their website. Most of these still require a lowered nose piece. I dont know of any that let you use the OEM Nose piece.[/QUOT
the RPOT one uses the oem non lowered nose piece. not shaped exactly like OEM with 2 air scoops facing forward and no fire extinguisher compartment recess.
R&D website always is way out of date. they still showed their dry pipe a few years ago but they haven't had it for ages.
I sold birdman a carbon RPOT a few years ago but he probably sold it, just like he does everything else he buys.

Thanks for all the replies guys. I'm going to keep trying to get in touch with WDK to see if they did in fact stop. And yea OEM style to match with the OEM pole mount and pole mount cover / nose piece.

Buzzard thanks for the info on the RPOT. If it matches up with the OEM nose piece that's good for me. I'm going to build the ski with the oem pole bracket so I want the parts to match up.

I'll post up what I find.

Dont think that is a Blowsion Product. There was a guy up that way making knockoff's and selling on ebay......... who knows. never saw a Blowsion Hood built to match OEM. One of their first hoods was named after one of their riders, Jeffery Dawson, it was short, the back was boxy shapped..... Kinda Ugly.....

Could it be one of the Waterdawg ones? Rear intakes look similar. And it looks like hand holds were an option. Underside looks similar too.

Good to know about the billet non lowered brackets too.

I talked to Phoenix at Precision Hitec Xtreme last night and he said it has been a while since they've made a SJ hood but they would be happy to do so. I'm waiting on quotes for non-visual carbon and glass. I like the design of his and from what I can tell so far from stuff online his craftsmanship looks pretty good. I'm going to ask for more pictures and info.
