I am trying to figure out how to properly reassemble the OEM start stop switch.
Does this metal plate go as shown, between the rubber grommet and the zip tie on the wire harness?
Or does it go between the rubber grommet and the plastic housing?
Seems kind of odd to have it slip over the wire and then push against the zip tie like shown. It's not providing pressure around the entire wire, only loading it against the zip tie head.
