OK-I traded the type 4 for a B mod chamber pipe-searched the threads and found water line routing for dual cooling-and a heated debate about it-but-

single cooling w/ADA girdled head and B pipe and stk 62T/61X 701 engine

IS THIS RIGHT?

1-cooling line in to bottom of exhaust manifold
2-bottom of head pipe to back 90deg elbow on rear of cylinder head
3-top of head pipe to pisser w/ 'T' to stinger on chamber
4-front 90deg elbow on front of cylinder head to 2nd pisser

Is this right? THANK U GUYS 4 YOUR PATIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I promise I am keeping notes now so I don't have to ding dong u guys all the time.

Sounds good to me. I'm running dual cooling with both cooling lines to the manifold and thats how I have mine run. You'll just have less water flowing so you won't need as small of restrictors that I have.

If you're using a Jetworks Flow Control Valve just make sure that the straight end of the T goes to the FCV.

Thanks FLY-was pretty sure I was right-but water is a little cold to get to the lake and find out I'm wrong and have to swim it back in.

i guess the search function doesnt work anymore???

He said he used it. But the problem witha search button is you get many threads with many pages of discussion, false information, argueing, etc. Not like bringing up a googled page that says "This is the way"

"searched the threads and found water line routing for dual cooling-and a heated debate about it-but-"

Sometimes you gotta overlook the rmks Gil. They are just havin some fun. Routing looks perfect bro. There are manyways but you nailed the most poplular. I would run a 2.5 needle & seat as reducer in line to stinger.

I wouldn't worry about it bro. Don't take it personally.

I also get pissed when people bitch about not using the search function. The point of a forum is to have discussions. If you don't feel like engaging in the discussion then don't click on the thread in the first place. Just my .02.

Oh and you're right most of the cooling threads being about dual cooling. When I was going to go with single cooling I couldn't find any threads about single cooling.

Thanks man-there are a ton of cool people on here, and as well, there are some real @#$#@#$#%^% on here-just goes w/the territory I guess. Most peeps on here know more bout SJ's right now than I will know in the rest of my life-it's nice to have this mountain of knowledge at our fingertips.

There is using the search function and not using the search function. It is one thing to use the search and not find a result, it is another to not even bother to search for something that is asked 23,967 times.

Everyone here is more than willing to answer questions which have not been asked 23,968 times. But if you ask "how do I install footholds" expect to be ragged on.

I think Gil went a little overboard, but you did indicate you searched which was proved by the fact you indicated the debate. Had you read furter you would have found that there is no right or wrong way as there are many theories and beliefs on how to plumb your cooling lines. It is a case of ask 10 people get 6 different answers.

That said, Gil you listed the way ~75+% of the members with a similar setup have theirs routed. So you seem to be safe.

gil, putting a flow control valve between the tee and the waterbox greatly increases bottom end. a restrictor is okay but the jetworks is much better.
