superjet dies while riding?

Hi, this is gunna be a big post so ill say sorry now and hipe yous take the time to read it n try help me. im new to the forum i recently bought a 701 single carb. First ride it was running on 1 cylinder. Pulled apart ebox had a bit of water in it. Sprayed Wd40 in all connections. Siliconed up real well. Started n ran on 2 cylinders.
Took it back out to the water. Rode for an hour then went back to the same problem..was gettin poopty spark. Turned out i needed spark boots. Bought some new ngk ones and it is now getting great spark.
Took it back out in the bay today was riding on and off for about 3 hours out there. And the battery died. Had the bilge running constantly so thought maybe it was that...
Jumped it off another battery.
Took it out riding for about 2 minutes and the whole thing shut off as if u pulled the safety key.

Had to swim back to shore. Swapped batterys. Cranked over took it out for 3 minutes n again just stopped. Started swimming i back in. While trying to crank it and get it started n it started again. Got back to shore. Checked spark. All good. Took it out again. And again died. Swam a bit started but then died again.

Someone please help!? Have no idea the problem. Feel as if i bought a dud! :(

Sounds like a bad start.stop switch. the start stop switch has connectors by the ebox....black/white and Brown/red. Check the connector for corrosion. You can run it with black/white disconnected but you wont be able to turn the ski off, but it gives you to chance to diagnose it by seeing if it still shuts off with the connector disconnected...if it doesn't your S/S switch is bad (common yami problem)

Could be a bad fuel tank check valve, could be a lot more than that. What are you riding and where? salt water or a lake? when it runs it runs good? or this is your first ski and runs way better than when you first rode it?

Riding in salt water. When its going 100% its goes great for those 3 hours yesterday i was having a ball! Then the battery died. Swapped batterys n had this problem

Where is the check valve located? I have a little bottle thing that catches water from the fuel tank apparently? Is that it?

Sorry if i sound stupid its my first superjet

Okay found the check valve. It is only working one way. Even with the compressor gun on it. Its pretty well sealed.
Blew out the fuel filter n that little water catcher emptied.

I noticed as i took the fuel filter off it had a up sign. Pretty sure it was on upside down as i had to turn it around in the rubber bracket it sits in so the upside is up. Would this make a difference?

Going to clean out the start stop button aftet lunch

Sounds like your wiring from your electrical box to your stator is compromised. Salt water will find a way there to make your ski run bad. Used dielectric grease at the start stop plugs to begin with. Inspect the stator wires for cuts. If there are any splices redo them with new heat shrink connectors.

Okay guess i will have to pull apart the ebox again and inspect all wires in there. Try get some waterproof sealant in all the connections.
I will also check battery voltage to see if its charging.

Thanks

20141028_175344.jpg Sooo i checked the battery voltage did not change when running. So decided to pull apart the ebox and found this... think i might of found the problem!! Any tips on how people are keepin theres sealed?

So i checked the operating voltage. No matter what the revs are the voltage always stays the same.

Also if you give it a little bit of throttle it sounds like its hitting limiter really early? No where near wide open throttle.

Any ideas?
