SXR SXR not cooling. Need help.

So here's an update. Today I replaced the head gasket. There was quite a bit of debris in the channels around the cylinders where the cooling water circulates. Clean it all out using an air compressor. Put the ski in the water and if fired right up but still it would not piss out the side....

So next I got the water hose and started flushing every single line in cooling system. When I got the cooling line that shoots off the pump I could hear water spraying UNDER the tray where I cannot get to it.

I noticed this line enters the hull on the right side of the ski but then enters then engine compartment on the left. WTF? So somewhere under the tray this line traditions for right to left. I'm guessing there is a break there and that's why water is spraying down there and not ever making it from the pump to inside the engine compartment.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Also remember that a stock sxr has two water cooling overboard outlets. One on the side of the hull and one that dumps by the pump

Would there be any problem with rerouting the overboard line that dumps back by the pump and using a "T" fitting to tap it in with the overboard that pisses out the side? I could then use that through hull back by the pump for the cooling line? Or I could drill a new through hull since the stock one is obviously broken under the tray where I can't get to it.

How about this, The tube that leaks into the tray capped it off on both ends...... Use the other thru hull tube as your new cooling tube and reroute the pisser overboard.......

If the tube is on the opposite side of the pump you maybe able to loop the hose to the other side like my old 650 SX was.....

You might pressure or vacuum test that tube first to make sure it's leak free first
