matt, uhhhhhh it's back on brotha..

I knew there had to be reason mine didn't flood

I mentioned a couple of pages ago that a restriction in the stinger line would lessen the problem significantly. :cool2:

I think Yamaha meant towing without anyone on the ski... It WILL sink and of course will take water in.

I don't think so. The manual mentions having someone on the ski for towing, separately. Don't make me upload another page. :haha:
And if you sank it that way, water wouldn't get in through the exhaust.

Seems like when towing a stand up, the shorter the rope for towing helps keep the nose up, thus less water in the engine compartment. Just me $.02

IDK.... the last (and only) time I was pulled back was with a short rope. The jet wash from my friends WR3 would swamp the front end.

Just been keeping that to yourself for two and a half years?

Finally had to get it off your chest?

My 440 battery died about 2 miles away from "home", so my friend (93rx7 on here) rode back to his place, got his boat, came all the way back to where I was with my 440, hooked up, went to start his boat, and starter was :):):):)ed and making all kinds of crazy noises, and it wouldn't start. He ended up getting a ride back to his place again, and came back with his superjet, and ended up having to make a train and towed the boat with his superjet while my 440 was hooked onto the back of the boat.

Did that happen sunday? If you were close you should have tried to make it back this way for help. Hope your skis are ok now.
