I'm using this to sand the whole tray and flat surfaces. It never did this before. And now the poop won't come off. It's like deturfing all over again. Ughhuse right-angle with 36grit..
When you mentioned the temperature you cured the panels at my first thought was that there was no way it was cured. Per the US composites website temperatures below 60 degrees double the curing time.So much for laying glass today. It really won't come off. I broke the bond on the left side to the bottom tray of thickened epoxy from rubbing. Bleh. The epoxy hasn't reached its full hardness yet, so I wonder if that's what effed it up

The panels have been done for a couple weeks. And the thickened epoxy has had 24 hours. It's no big deal now. Just the rpms out of a DA aren't good if you're epoxy hasn't fully hardened. By hand it works perfectly now. You can't dent the epoxy, it's super hard, but you can scratch it with your nail if that makes sense. When you mentioned the temperature you cured the panels at my first thought was that there was no way it was cured. Edit: Acetone might work better for you than lacquer thinner.
Oh yeah understandable. 12 hours at 70 ish and it's pretty much fully cured, at least for me. But 50 degrees and 24 hours it's still not rock solid yet, which is understandable. No biggie, I guess now I know. LolI guess I can't relate. When I used US Composites 3 to 1 epoxy there was no way I'd ever be able to scratch it with my finger nail when its hardened after a day at 75 degrees.
Epoxy is completely hardened and everything looks good now. The fast set epoxy bonded pretty good too.
It's 70 degrees today, and I guess the ice is pretty much completely off the lakes I ride.. I need this thing done ASAP!

Had no idea you were in Wisconsin! Guess I never looked cuz I'm usually only on this thread when I'm on my phone.Where do you ride? I ride on School Section Lake and it's been open for a couple weeks now.
Holy crap your local! Where is school section?Okauchee is great, lots of big wakes and enormous boats out there! I hit school section lake almost everyday and get out to Nagawicka on the weekends usually.
You gotta finish the build in time to get some riding in before the dells freeride!
