After some harassment and prodding from sportfish and Pablo I got stupid and cut it for -4. Losing the pump dump. Planning on going straight out the back with scupper tube that has fitting for threaded cap to block it off for surf. 20140331_154846.jpg20140331_165209.jpg 20140331_154846.jpg 20140331_165209.jpg 20140331_165308.jpg

This is about 15 hours of labor so far by someone who has done it all several times before. We paid $2600 plus shipping to get the entire ski minus engine, electrics, and pipe.

this is why I wouldn't never buy a Frankenski! Looks nice on the top, but underneath it's just a cobble up mess.

What did you pay for this thing? It was for sale for quite a while.
Exactly ... did seller let you know all this?

IMO a seller does not really know some things....for sure......the buyer should know exactly what kind of condition a stock hull ridden...in the surf.... by Gomez.... would be in!

$2500 for ski minus engine, pipe, electrics.

Shipped/crated from Vegas to atlanta.

We hoped to have a ski with a lot less work, but we ended up buying ourselves a project. I wanted a surf capable ski and Mcdog's wife needs a daily driver ski, so this works out for both sides. Mcdog's providing the engine, electrics and I'm shelling out for hull and rest of supplies. We had a SN we shared for a couple years as a friend ski. Sold it and rolled those funds into this one. Mcdogger does awesome glass and turf work so most of this build is his baby, but we'll share the ski to be the village whore.

Looking forward to thrashing this at Hugo!!!

I think it makes sense...a lot of guys do not know and/or care about wet foam. It is a given. The price is right IMHO .... that is probably a Blow$ion hood and tubbie$....AC pole...Alum pumps shoe....pump dump scupper....$hipped....
