Been working on the blaster all summer getting it running and now I am working to see how far I can push it. Figured I would document changes and modifications here.
Any input or suggestion are more then welcome! (Not looking to put in a triple.) If anyone is breaking the 50mph mark with a 61x or 62t engine please post what you have done.:bananalama:

Ported and polished ( I think race ported) has a 318 engraved on the side of the cylinder if that means anything to anyone.
91 octane
Coffman Rocket exhaust
TDR waterbox

49.3mph @6870rpms ( And A-LOT more bottom end )

Switched Pro-tec head to an ADA girdled 35cc w/ new BR8ES Spark plugs
Matched exhaust gasket to cylinder
Ground the exhaust manifold to match the gasket
Polished the exhaust manifold starting at 80grit down to red rouge polish
Cleaned all of the carbon out of the pipe with simple green, wire brush and 100grit

Turned the main jet all the way out and she still wanted more.

Next on the list of mods, plan is to do one at a time and re-test rpms and top speed.

GPS. What mods do you have on yours?
Everything you do with a Factory dry pipe, 62t/61x JM 735 top end. Dual 46's. V Force reeds. Prop, although I'm not sure on the size. Grate, plate. Trimmed the lip off the rear of the hull which supposedly is good for 1 mph (dunno how true that is). I'd be interested to see how fast it is.

Everyone always thinks there faster until they gps it
True. I need to put a GPS on it I guess.

I guess I should have said, all of my skis are set up for absolute bottom end and hook up. I could get more top end out of them if I was willing to give up holeshot and hook up..... but what good would that do? lol

I was wondering when you would pop in and bust everybody's bubble!!!!!!!!!! Need to change your screen name to BlasterKing!!!!!!!!!!!! I miss the conversations you and Godocgo use to have when you were both racing!!!!!!!!!!

Lee, Joe and I basically had clones for skis. All were set up by Judge, with Joe building and tuning ours. When the three of us raced, we were usually always the top three at the merge. It was fun, but those 8mil Judge skis were a handful to race. The power was so lightswitchy that after 7-8 laps, we were all holding til the end. In 07 when I won my first title, I worked out nonstop and got down to 163lbs the week of Nationals. It was the only time in all my years of racing that I could ride hard from green flag to checkers. As soon as I got back, KT and I went to Disney for our vacation. When I got home, I had gained 12 lbs in 3 weeks, lol.
