650sx --- Stock bore X stroke = 76 x 70 = 635cc
SXR800 --- 82 x 74 = 781

For a 650 to be punched out to 781 CC, it would need 84.5mm pistons, or 8.5mm overbore.

You can't punch a 650 out to 800. There is an old PJS super cylinder that would make the 650 into a 800. I'm not overly familiar, but that looks like a stock cylinder with a head on it.

Big boring a 650 cylinder to anything near 750cc is obviously not doable. Installing the longer stroke 750 crank in the 650 cases is also not doable (won’t fit), and installing the 750 cylinder on 650 cases is a setup wrought with lots of undesirable technical compromises.

To answer your question, there is no reason to do something like this today. PJS made the cylinders before the 750 came out. Kind of like the 800cc 550based triple motor they once made. Valuable then, not valuable now, except to a collector. From a practical stance, install a 750, preferably a 750BP or 800.

i have a 1992 kawasaki 650sx standup jetski for sale. has 800 big bore kit in it, west coast pipe, extended ride plate, intake grate, pole spring, stainless prop, mariner dual cool head, high flow intake. runs good, but having some cooling issues. will run all day on the hose, but when put in the water it overheats after about 10 minutes. according to some of the research i've done, it just needs the dual cooling mod done to it. you just tap another cooling hose to the pump and separate the engine and exhaust cooling with the westcoast recommended hose routing (on their website). its about $10 worth of hardware you can get at home depot. i just dont have time to do it right now. have a bunch of spare parts including 2 spare motors (1 blown and 1 usable), prop, exhaust, stator, shaft, pump, and more. 1200 cash or make me a reasonable cash offer....email or call/text 484-686-four seven four one. i have all paperwork for it to be legal.

"I'm selling a good looking and running Roundnose SJ. If you know these machines then I dont need to explain them. If not, you probably wont want to pay $ for a machine, so click the back button and move on to a kawasaki standup (you can buy a much newer 1 for less money, but do you ever wonder why? It's because they are junk compared to the superjets).

This ski is super clean as you can see. Its all stock with the exception of the impeller and ride plate. Call me at 541-543- if you have any questions. NO EMAILS OR TEXTS PLEASE. Lake tests will be available for a serious buyer."
