Is there much seal drag? If so then keep running it. Once the drag goes away the bearings will get wet and begin to roar. Lots of pump vibration will also shotren seal life and let water in.

I will keep running with the old seal.
I have another question. Should i use red loctite when i mount the pump (the bolts thats hold the pump to the ski)? Or just use thread sealant? Or what do you use?

Antiseize is my best friend.

Do i need to align the pump when i had it out for impeller swap? The pump had no shims and there are two zero marks at the rear bolts on the ski.

I have bolted the pump in as it was before and reading all the "align" posts here, I'm kinda worried.

Assuming the mid shaft is in, tighten the front bolts and shim the rear as necessary. If the rear tabs hit first then try removing the dowel pins from the nozzle and loosening the thru-bolts so it can float into position.
