so far i have had to pound the ever living poop out of a blaster mod to fit in a sj hull, even with out the fuel tank in. is that normal?

I've had to beat the one I had. It made me very nervous. But actually...I didn't pound on the chamber for the fuel tank fit. I took a heat gun to the tank and reshaped it a bit.
My "pounding" issue was with the hull - to - chamber fit.

I had some extended brackets fabricated to allow the chamber to not rotate down towards the tank as much. I did not have to dent the front side near as much and it still had clearance from the hood. I also had to dent the section next to the hull right past the coupler a little. It has been running on the wifes ski all summer and no problems. If you run it hot, the power rips and it sounds trick. I have another chamber that I am going to try on my 760 SJ as soon as I can get some more brackets made up and get my old headpipe screws refitted with the pardaddy oversize adjusters. :woot:

Is a blaster mod pipe better then my superjet mod pipe on my lami motor. Is it worth a try.I have the tooling to be able to cut and reweld if anyone knows where to cut.A friend has one for sale How much should I pay for a blaster mod pipe
