Custom/Hybrid 3rd person view of riding the WCF test

I made a new camera mount that straps to my back and has a higher camera mount. In the video I should have pointed it up more, but it is hard to tell when you cant touch the camera when its on your back. I think it came out pretty cool, much different than the standard helmet shots. I want to try it in the surf and see how it works next

The fact you didn't get that hat wet is what I thought was impressive. I want that mount! How much ya want for it? :-D

Trust me, the hat gets very wet, I cut out the falls, I should have left one since the camera is high, it doesn't get wet and you see everything.

I'll post pics tomorrow, but there are instructions online how to make it out of PVC or cutting boards and tubing. I got the straps from the camping section at Walmart

old SS pipe $5
and a backing board and thats it

I am going to, but worst case, there are 3 of them, and if all 3 were to fail that would be bad. But it is the same stuff for the most part as a brap strap or hood straps

not this material, but All I would have to do is put a bit of foam on the back of it and it would for sure. I made the arm small enough out of the SS tube so when I fall off, it wont be a big pipe to pull me off. There is a few kite board sites that made some, and they are huge!

Looks awesome!!! The helmet mounted cam is just yuck but this is 100% better.
