Doubt you can get an xft anymore. xr tech and wcf are the only ones that come to mind and don't know if the xr is still available either.
Its just not what the cool
Kids do anymore :)

lol I guess I'm not "cool" then. I've been looking around, and I don't really want one that looks like a friggin sxr.

I saw the thread title and thought "wtf, why would anyone do this anymore, considering the work involved, the low cost of complete RN hulls, and the near uselessness of such a conversion."

And then I opened the thread and saw who posted it. Never mind Trav, it all makes sense now. WCF may still sell them.

Matt, there are a few different reason that come to mind in answering your quoted question: First off, you will be lucky to find a decent hull that wouldn't need to be split and/or reinforced anyway. Another thing is, any modifications you might want to do, like added scuppers, etc... the thing is going to have to be split anyway, defoamed, etc..

Price depends on color and finish. I really can't make it for less than about $850 in polished black or white. Extra charge for any custom color.

Tem has made a sn conversion topdeck.Someone on here built one a couple years ago.Seems like you had to cut the nose and azz end a couple inches to make it work.Looked good! He probably still has the mold laying around.

Seems like there would still be a ton of money and labor involved any way in doing a top deck conversion. Buying RN components, cutting in for footholds etc. Seems like price would even out anyway, not to mention still having to reinforce a SN bottom deck.

I have seen good RN hulls for around $600-800 in my area.
