FX-1 Fx1 Engine Mounts and Bottomplate ( same as RN? 701 ? :)

I have a bit of a problem, i have bourgt a used 650cc Yamaha engine, to my FX1 Hull.

It wont fit?


I think maybe it is the Bottomplate.. Is that special on the FX1?


Because im thinking of buying a RN701 Bottomplate if thats the original to the FX1

Please look at the Bottomplate ( Bed plate ) if thats the correct one for the FX1

They're all the same. There must be something else happening.

did you try putting it in without the exhaust and carb on it???

If you look very close to the exhaust side bed plate. It looks very different from all the ones ive ever seen on 650-760 yamaha. Did this come out of some sort of other craft? (ie jet boat, or something not yamaha hull wise)

Honestly though i thought they were all the same as well
