Super Jet solas prop interferes with solas prop?

I ran into some spacing issues with the prop and the solas mag pump. I have a solas concord prop that does not fit up to the solas pump. When I went to tighten down the prop, it pinched between the prop and pump. The hub diameter is larger on the solas pump versus the oem pump, also the pump hub has a slightly longer length then the oem. The prop slid over the oem pump hub for the correct clearance, on the solas pump the prop hub is the same diameter and the pump hub which is causing the interference. So, I think I have 3 options:
1) add spacers between the pump and prop (this would work, but ideally you want the pump as close to stator veins as possible)
2) machine down the solas pump hub so that the prop slides over it like oem (keeps prop close to the stator veins)
3) not sure if there is a prop that designed to work with this pump?
What do you guys think?

you need large hub prop to go with solas pump yours wont work

solas YQ series or scat trak C 75 or impros hooker

Be sure to specify that you're going to run it in a mag pump when you order it.

you'll most likely find you'll still need spacers with the big hup prop also.

Edit:
Be sure to specify that you're going to run it in a mag pump when you order it.

Why's that? Is there a difference in the cutback if you request for a Mag vs Stock pump?

Because the pitch will most likely be different.

How so? Like a 10/16 in a mag is comparable to a 9/15 in a stocker? Thought pitch was more contingent on riding pref and motor setup and a mag will just give better hookup, not impacting other variables as heavily.

A mag pump is a higher pressure pump than stock. It will load the motor differently. Therefore pitch is not likely to be the same as it would be in a stock pump. To take full advantage of an expensive mag pump, the impeller must be properly matched to the rest of the driveline. And that includes motor as well as pump and even cone and reduction nozzle.

I just put a solas mag pump in my ski with a Hooker 9/15 and it needed two washers to make it clear. They sent me one and I had to machine another one when I was installing. The thing has really good bottem end but thinking I might try a 10/16 impeller to see how I like that. I ride around the lake some and like to have a little top end and the 9/15 doesn't seem to have much but it sure will get you to the top speed quick!
