Custom/Hybrid Jetmaniac's SuperFreak tried to Flip me on flatwater !

But I wouldn't let it ! Well my skills wouldn't let it flip, but it certainly tried...Finally got a chance to ride a SF this weekend...was doing set up wakes and jumping straight up when all the sudden I hit one and the Freak decided to begin rotation and I landed on my back. I did not even pull the trim and was in a surf stance !

This is the best ski I have ever ridden, the front and rear footholds lock you in perfect. The hull felt half as light as my SJ and the power to weight ratio was insane for a BB running on an Epic...The ski accelerates very quickly due to the light weight hull...Did some carving on this hull and she held the turns and would slide a bit when needed. If you have never rode a Freak, you don't know what you are missing !

I call dibs on this hull !

It would prolly take a 1000cc motor in a SJ hull to compete with this set up...

I believe he is running a bb781 with a mag pump and b pipe in a 56lb hull

Minus 1.5 hull, JM Big Bore w/ 38's, Epic ign, B-pipe and Skat set back mag are the basic stuff...

Yep, At 56lbs would make it about 60 lbs lighter than a SJ hull...

sj762 was there and rode it too, he seemed pretty impressed also...Chris (JM) was able to do some underflips off small 1.5 foot boat wake.

I failed to mention that Blue did an awesome porting job on this motor and the basic set up includes a TBM flywheel and v-force reeds...I agree Chris, great surf/flatwater concept ski without power factor pipe, billet motor,expensive cranks,power valves, and total loss.

Too bad I guess, but I can also rip buoys and ride big surf with same ski, try that with an xfs.
