Why don't you guys try some flanged type graphite grooved bronze bushing from Mcmaster? Maybe that would help you guys out.

Because the pole will be loose. The goal here is to keep pole tight without anoying squeaky sound. I juat deal with the squeak myself.

Idok,If someone took a pic of your other pole from the bottom side...... would you reconize it,lol. Werent you the eye doctor lol

Nah,I think it would deff help to have the bushings on the inside also,but Ive had success with the $11 SS bolts I have now with a ton of red lock tight on both bolts.that was the missing link.Even with the $20 bushings it would still better than $50 bolts that dont fit,lol
