ive never rode a superjet. Would a square nose with bolt ons (pipe, head, reeds, prop) with some skill be able to pull off a barrle roll? or is this just totally out of reach?

boris, you are living proof its NOT true what they say about pollocks! :arms:    :woot:

I beg to differ, if it wasn't true than I would be the one with a crazy storage bill from legdrager.

Kwit, just bite the bullet and get the square.
First you get a ski to practice on, develop your skills (riding and turfing, I butchered my turf).
You get a feel for what's out there in used parts land.
It's a great time to build up a nice drive line and not have to worry about the bling factor associated with the round riders.
You have time to find and build the hull you want without having to stay on the beach with the girls.

But most important of all , you get to hang out with all the other cool kids who only ride squares.

no ********. Alright guys thanx, I was under the impression you had to have 3 under the table jobs and a welfare check goin on to be able to afford the parts you need too throw a roll or 2. lol i got a line on a 1990 sqaure in new jersey and im prolly gunna pick it up if it looks good. :woot:

ok well how long will the stock hull last?

That all depends on how good your attemps are. :cool2: If you come up real short a bunch of times off of 6-8ft surf your hull will be toast in no time. If you are landing 3/4 to full rotation it should last quite a bit longer. In the surf I only had one bad bail in 6ft surf, and it snapped my pole, but the rest of the hull was fine. I probably should reinforce, but I dont want the down time right now. Tryin to ride as much as possible before Jan when shiet hits the fan.:headbang: Every role I have thrown "in surf" since my first bad attempt has been 3/4's to riding away. Hull is holding up great after probably 30 roles in 3-4ft surf. Good luck
