does anyone have a bun hull?

The Bun Hulls are a whole different level of AM hulls. I got to ride one at Havasu with a VERY dialed 1105cc motor. That thing was a monster and a half to ride. Felt shorter than a BOB and narrower than a Super Jet. Not to mention the pump was so far back, it was blasting water up my shorts the entire time I was making a set up wake. Definitely not for the average freestyler, you've really got to be very aggressive when riding it.

All EME hulls are Fiberglass too and they are SUPER STRONG and light. Carbon is not the only route to go. With the propper glass, resin and technique then glass is more than strong enough and light enough for a torchered standup hull. PROVEN BY ERIC MALONE. I have NO idea what he uses but the Q8's I have seen have taken severe beatings with little sign of any damages.

My ideal hull would be glass prepreg by someone that knows their shiot!!! Unfortunately its not offered out there. Carbon has its plus but imo it has just as many downfalls especially if not done propperly with the exact amount of the best resin available.

Who the heck wants a BUN, the sponsored guys are on paper thin super light comp. hulls made for that day and a few days before in practice. You dont want one of those LOL!!!

Not sure, but EVERY EME hull I have seen has been glass (Q8's ) that is and light at around 72# hull and hood. It very well could be the shape of the hull and hood that make it strong but regardless its freakn strong.. Just not my style of hull to ride or I would own one. They are fun for Flatwater only IMO but not the everyday hull I like. For learning Flatwater backflips I would highly recomend buyong a used one, learn the trick on the bullet proof hull then buy what you like to ride and sell the still good Q8 hull off.
Yeah they are that much stronger than anything else I have seen out there thus far.

Nice!! Comes right around with that 701. That's impressive.

Bun pole as well? I must have missed this thread. Is that Bun pipe a dry pipe? I'd love to see what that 701 feels like with that big ass pipe and dual 48's. High compression?
