by the way i ride mostly flat water and i don't race, would like to get out of hole faster and i like the top end to get to a spot faster..i will try the ocean next season so the impeller has to be good for the ocean too.so basically it has to be a all around impeller, but still have a good amount of low end

Oh crap, just realized your in WA. I saw your post over on PWC today and commented on it. A hooker would be impeller for you. If you want something that going to give you lots of bottom end but also give you flexibility for the top end a 10/16 would be a great bet.

I went with the 9/15, got a tremendous amount of lower end (came with mods and impeller upgrade at once) and also gained a few 2-3 mph on the top end as well.

Im in Currently in Moscow, but we ride with guys in CDA, Spokane, Liberty Lake, Spokane Valley ect.

Shoot me a PM if your looking for some riding friends! The more the merry!

Lots of information can be found about the hookers and which is right for your set up here. http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/37009-New-Impros-Hooker-Impeller-for-Yamaha

I dont think you'll have the power for a 10/16, I would run the 9/15

well it's to late now....i have already purchase the impeller and with the info i was given and found,it look like the 10/16 will be the one for my ski...and if not i'll get the 9/15 later, but i will not know till next season:grumble:.....here some picture

I ran a 10/16 in my fx1 with a superjet pump. All I had was a high comp head, a/m carbs, reeds, b-pipe, tdr waterbox, stubby pump cone an a OP steering nozzle. It friggin ripped

The 9/15 was perfect for my SN when I was running a ported 701 with a b-pipe/head. The 10/16 worked alot better with my buddy's 771. The 10/16 will work fine, but there will be more hesitation right off the throttle

yeah i was thinking of having them do the work too.but can they re pitch too?

of course they can . By the way your stock prop looks like an 08 SJ prop i run one in the SJ and prefered it over the 9/15 hooker for all around riding.

Usually lighter hull can turn steeper prop (on the fx1 i run a c75 13/18skat on my 650pump with a 780 motor)

If your going to stick with the 10/16 bore your nozzle out

the more i look at my nozzle on my main ski,it look like the last owner had it bore out already, just comparing it with my back up ski.....

here some picture maybe u guy can make head or tail off of it...

this is my backup ski nozzle.the wall look thicker

i like my stock prop it had a good amount of low end and it is good for all around riding, but i couldn't handle how much cavitation it had....idk maybe it was the damage on my stock prop that cause so much cavitation..anyway i was planning on replacing my impeller since i decided to trick out my superjet

measure it, your going to want to be around 84.5mm to 85mm

ok,i going to have to buy a measuring tool to measure the nozzle it should be inexpensive tool....harbor freight is my friend....:naughty:,by the way from what i was told from the last owner it may have been bore out cause he had blowsion do all the mod it idk.i will not know till i get the tool....
