It was new at the beginning of the season, but 150 hrs run time it looks shot
Is this normal?
Is a new coupler needed every season?

make sure it is installed correctly and it will last a long time. push the chamber all the way up tight to the headpipe when installing.

I like to change it every season. For $25 it's just nice to know its new. But the Kawi is way tighter than the Yami setup. Kawis rub the manifold.

Make sure the stinger end is at the right height, the chamber isn't to hot, have good motor mounts and take it off to inspect/clean/Honda wax after every ride or one hour whatever comes first . Mines showing signs of wear and it's year 2 on it with total abuse .

I have had the same coupler on my FX1 since 1994, I have 3 couplers in a box that I have never needed so Install it up tight/right and you should have no probs! Or I am just a lucky sumbitch?

haha. never put hondwax inside the coupler or it will blow of the headpipe and shot right in to orbit
