Hmm, swear I've seen them for that. I will look around when I get a chance.

*EDIT* Here's the one I was thinking of. I know others on the forum are running this one and like it. Do a search and see what you can find.

Check with Brian_216, seems like he might have had an extra, I can't remember. He does have one in his 300 project, if he parts it out, you could get in line for that.

That's the pump I run.

Is that water injection kit and the flow valve what I should buy? Or should I just get the flow valve only?

Looks like im getting a cosistant opinion about getting a flywheel.

So If I buy the following will I notice a lot more power? I want my ski to be scary:
TBM Flywheel = 599.00
TBM Pump Pro = 399.00
Jet Works Valve = 50.00
TBM Grate = 199.99

Sounds like its better to just mill the stock head vs a $400 aftermarket head. My dad works at a machine shop... Im sure he can mill my head for me? Is there a certain amount you should mill off? Or is this something that should definately be sent off to a jetski place?

Or you can just get a stock superjet with only a pipe and still have more hit, just an idea.

Someone had to say it.

You can say it, but its total BS. A bone stock SXR with a wetpipe, will SMOKE a bone stock 96-07 SJ with a B Pipe...every time all the way through the power band. Unless you buy a prop, MSD, intake grate (spend about $700), then they will be close.

Except the SuperJet will still handle like a 550 - unless you add Tubbies - then it will handle like a 550 with Tubbies.

That guy says that same :):):):)t everytime. I used to ask for ideas and suggestions on the STL thread except everytime i would, him or like 2 others would just say buy a superjet instead of trying to actually help and saying intelligent things

If I wanted a tiny ski that handled like shiitt and cant hookup in minimal chop then I would buy a superjet (Boys ski), But Im not into flatwater tricks so I bought a man-rocket (SXR FTW)

Even funnier is every week theyre posting about their superjets crank braking or throwing a rod or electrical system frying, etc

I run an 09 sxr

factory wet pipe (head pipe and exhaust manifold bored 50mm)
timing advance that comes with pipe
TBM flywheel
TBM finger throttle
2.0 n/s 80h 152.5L sock spring, pro-k filters
1 turn from close bottom srew and 7/8's from from closed top
bored nozzel
TBM intake grate
jetworks flow valve
drilled stock water box

dont know that i can say it's "scary" but runs very well, has sharp throttle response. good all around, dont do much on the WOT runs but it will pass the 15second run.

you don't need water injection for sure. my 06 SXR with ADA head, wet pipe and lightweight flywheel and Art's 46mm Blackjacks and setback Magnum pump was ripping arms off

OptimaRacing

Jet zoomers
Those Solas 12-Vane Performance Pumps are great little pumps. Amazing bang for the buck. Quality pieces that include the reduction nozzle and steering/drop nozzle. The drop nozzle could possibly be modded to be a "flip" nozzle. I'm not 100 % sure on that. The steering nozzle has interchangeable diameter rings.

I know a great place to get one if your interested...................

i am running a similar set-up with the arm yanker part of the package being, ada head w/mild compression , wet pipe ,tbm flywheel, advent t-3 ignition with jsu curve, jet works flow valve, all this needs to be tuned to run together (which was fairly easy if your familiar with watercraft ,i am no jedi engine tuner but know what works for me and can usually get it right.also if you need help you can talk to people in the industry most people are willing to help)after my engine was hitting like i like to i went on to my power delivery ,tbm pump stuffer,skat-trak cut back impeller, tbm intake, wamiltons composite ride plate i am also running a tdr waterbox ,bored nozzle ,bored steering nozzle and im sure theres more crap. but what happened is first i got the engine hitting hard ( after i installed my flywheel , ignition and pipe) then i started moving the power around the way i like it and adjusted the delivery for my needs..hope this helps you . oh yea, just to make clear most of the changes were subtle but as far as (bang for your buck) the advent and tbm flywheel were money well spent.reliable ripping power..my 02.

thanks dude!
jonnyx2 has helped out. ski is realy fun to ride, no jeti either but have some skill, i was running the pipe a little on the hot side, playing with the different screw settings. took me a couple of trys to get the water valve correct, still have a slite bog on the bottom, yes once the engine is perfect will change impller/add a pump stuffer and ride plate.
