Also the flat deck 650sx w/750 is cool and all, but that thing is not reinforced and will crack/crumble like a cookie with some real riding.

Is this the reservoir in Lakeside? I only see stand-ups in your photos, and no bigger skis or boats in the background... Is there a "boat" size limit? I've heard of El Capitan, just never bothered to make it there... Fiesta Island is less than 5 min from my house...

Killer! I've recently managed to mount a much-shortened Kp aluminum pole using a custom SJ bracket/reinforcement plate, and I've been wanting to flat-deck this thing and install some foot straps exactly like you've got here. I'm stoked to have finally found somebody who's done this with success! Thank you much (and the others I see here) for providing excellent references! Have you found any downsides to the flat deck?
