Why is your pipe getting so hot?
melting through a gas tank would takesome pretty good heat...

If you run an internal filler and a MOD chamber, the stock tank is effortless to remove. I can pull out my tank with 4.8 gallons in it in about 15 seconds. AND you don't have to remove the battery tray.
If someone made a black plastic OEM tank, I'd be all over that.
^^^^^Never thought of that. I only have single cooling right now, but my ski is not ported or anything. The motor has not failed me yet, after pobably 30-40hrs since I have owned it. The tank was already burned when I bought the Ski. You dont think under normal circumstances that a B-pipe rubbing constantly on a plastic fuel tank would start to burn/melt the tank? I have since put a peace of rubber to space the pipe from the tank.
more ******** to waste $ on unless your really good
i think he meant friction burn.... and yes, it can happen. applying a piece of turf to the tank in that area is a good way to prevent it from happening.
