just registered, but have question about payment. Nick had a whole ski/rider formula for the Daytona ride. I'm bringing 1 SJ and 1 Blaster with 3 total riders. Not sure the $35 (registration + tenting) I just paid is the right amount. Just want to make sure I'm contributing properly

There should be something in the instructions about each rider registering separately. So the 35 for you and tent are fine but each rider will have to register. This way it will save time and money when you get here. Everyone has to fill out separate rider info contact info etc.

Hey 96. As a registered rider you will get a yellow TXJ riders wristband. This tells us that you have read and agreed to the liability contract, which is what were putting a big effort into this year to try keep every as safe as possible. So if you have 3 riders, then you would have to register each rider separately. Also every registered rider will receive a riders package which will include a limited supply of 2011 TXJ Freeride T-shirt designed by MotoOptions and all the other goodies soon to be announced, similar to last years package. Although there will not be a riders dinner this year. For $25 a rider your gonna get some cool stuff.
(P.S. At this point in time Im only ordering enough Freeride Shirts for pre registered riders, so if you wait untill the week of to reg, or when you get here, theres a good chance the shirts will all be spoken for). So register!!!! Ha ha, the shirts will be PIMP for sure!

And to answer your tenting questions. Its just $10 bucks per tent for the entire weekend. Weather its 2 peeps in a tent 0r 10 (which is kindof of creepy) Ha ha :lmao:

Just pre-registered. Can't wait to ride Lake Erie! I grew up on it but moved to NC before I got into the stand-ups. Looking forward to cooler temps...Lake Norman is about 93 degrees where we ride...it's like falling off into a hot tub!

I won't know anyone there so if you see me wandering around looking aimless, come say hi! I will probably be the only one there with NC numbers.

Anything strange required for riding in NY, besides the usual vest/fire extinguisher/whistle?

Realistically no, but NY does require a license, or safe boater course card, most states are accepted. I think this is pretty much standard across the entire US now correct?
