Jeremy McGrath's Honda Stand up Jet Ski

I talked to my Honda Rep this week and got to talkin about stand ups... Apparently Honda made Jeremy McGrath a 1 off Honda stand up...

I was hoping someone may have some pics of it... I'd love to check it out... I was wondering what motor they would have used.... I think Honda's largest 2 stroke is a 500cc... Seems like that would be lame if that's what they used...

Anyone? Anyone??

There was a video on transworldmx a long time ago..it's an sxr with a red hood and a Honda decal. Mc could rail that thing though..

Yeah x2. I HIGHLY doubt Honda made a one off stand up for Mcgrath. Mcgrath showed up here in Oceanside one time and was riding a blaster. Most guys coming from MX seem to prefer them because they have the fixed steering, the handle pole concept is counter to the MX riding style. He could ride OK but wasn't necessarily shining like he does on a bike. I guess we had some over inflated expectations of him with his reputation and all.

I talked to mc at the vegas supercross this year about stand-ups. he said he had a superjet and loved it.

mcgrath rides a blaster at oside all the time. he goes out with victor sheldon. i've talked to him several times on the ramp. ronnie renner rides a blaster in oside too.

the one off "honda" ski was indeed an SXR with a red hood and honda decal... it was on twmx for Ryan Villipoto's party for his outdoor championship on 250's... they had it in the channel at lake smell-some more

Sounds like someone needs to get JM to sign up for Sport Spec or Novice Ski at a race, that kind of publicity could be good for the sport.
