It wouldn't hurt to run dual cooling. You have your pump out so thats the first step. You need to tap it and run another fitting and connect it to what was the stock siphon bilge.Be sure you seal your pump well when you put it back in so that no water can escape past the intake. now you have two water send lines coming into the engine compartment from the pump which you connect to your exhaust manifold below the pipe and it should have two fittings in it, if not you will have to add one. That water now runs up the cylinders and out the two fittings that are already in your head. The line you have going to the pipe is right and the one on the other side of the head goes to a pisser overboard. The fitting on the backside of the exhaust headpipe goes down to the stinger at the end of the pipe.

im probaly going to do the duel cooling. i just dunno exactly whats entailed and how to run all the lines. im going have to read this info when im in front of my ski. do i need to add pissers out the side of my hull?

aww. i just ordered 2 44mm sbn carbs. my brother is looking for 1 tho. how much r u asking? and is it a sbn? the supertrapp might go on my x2. but i might part with it and drill out a stock later year x2 water box

Only interested in the ST box for my project. Those things are basically priceless in that condition so I would have traded a nice prepositionally rebuilt 44 for it. BTW, theres a simple mod to your x2 box that requires only a 12" long 3/8 drill bit. I did it on my 750 X-2 and it runs sweet with little change in sound. Don't waste that nice supertrap on the x-2. Sell it to one of us that really needs it. ;)

lol ill definatly think about it. i might let it go for the right price. but i need a later year waterbox since the 1 i have is the old style that you cant drill out
