They only allow 1,000 overnight reservations on the beach - because the visitation to this beach is HUGE, and people's plans change, so do reservations. I know what you mean though - last week, there were something like 268 reservations left....this week there were over 300.

Either way, I would not risk missing out on camping overnight on the beach. It's a lousy 10 bucks per night....with a one time on-line reservation fee of $7.50.....the whole weekend cost me $37.50 - and that's the same price for the bif honkin' toy hauler I'm in or my cozy little tent.

haha yah i know i know, im gonna reserve by monday. my stupid ski just crapped out on me so thats another thing i have to fix before the trip. its always one thing or another...

DO you have any idea how many folks have dragged their non-working rides to this campout over the last two years...and had a little mechanical mojo group going on is right there on the beach?
