I looked for that too but then again I sanded that off the sets I've done...

How can you sand it off? It's a depression in the glass. Seems you would have to sand quite a bit.

This is a hull that I am purchasing tommorrow. I am planning on making it a freestyle surf boat. Do you guys think that these Tubbies II's that are for racing will do well? Anything I can do besides purchasing a true set of freestyle/rec tubbies to make these perform for my needs?

Thats what I wanted to hear. I just found the "Tubbie 1's vs 2's" thread and it seems like everyone says the race tubbies are awsome for the surf. I'm stoked. I can't wait pick up this hull tommorrow. First thing to get done is I'm putting in wammer rickters, then reinforcing.

I don't have any experience with the Tubbie I's, but I have the II's on my boat, and honestly, it's been the single best mod of the past 12 months.

out of curiosity, do tubbys come curved to match the side of the hull or are they straight and you bend them while installing them? I would think if they came pre-curved it would be hard to install them backwards.
