Should I sell/trade my X2???????

So I was contacted by a guy from PWCToday about buying my X2 (I guess PWCToday does serve some purpose, though I'll be referring the guy here soon, if he isn't already). Anyway, I hadn't listed my X2 for sale but he was just checking to see if I'd be interested in selling it. The thought has been crossing my mind though.

My girlfriend really loves riding my 750SX. But so do I. So I end up riding the X2 when in my heart, I really want to be on my 750. This guy has a few 550's and he'd be willing to work out a deal. I would love to trade him my X2 for a 550 (plus possibly some cash unless one of the 550's is worth more than my X2). The 550 would then be for her to ride, and I would reclaim my 750.

I am just afraid I'll regret it later. I just bought a condo, so I cannot really afford to buy another ski, even a 550. I'd really like a SuperJet, but see previous sentenance.

I've also been thinking of just selling the X2 outright and than holding onto the cash and seeing what I can find between now and the spring. The g/f is probably done riding for the season since she gets cold very easy. So one ski will hold me over for the next few weeks.

While I do live in NJ, I am about 2 hours from the surf. And much further than that in terms of skill to actually ride it!

id say just put a few bucks away every week / month and you will find something you like for a reasonable price.

a 550 can be found a dime a dozen. i picked mine up for under 300 bucks with a trailer and it ran.

Good points - I know X2s are rare but I also always pick my standup over it. If I have limited time to ride and only put one ski in, its always the 750. And I really don't want to modify my trailer for 3 skis. I am actually planning to sell my trailer and downsize to a smaller 2-place for next season. Just looking to simplify things I guess.

I am thinking the trade + cash may not be the best option. Maybe I just sell the X2 and hold onto the cash until I find something I want? My X2 is in good shape - runs like a champ but no major mods or anything. Looks good though with new turf and paint job.

Sell the x2 and no need for a blaster stay away from the sit down and move directly to a superjet you will be glad you did.

i have more fun on my superjet then on my 550.

it might have been that the 550 was tricky as hell to learn on.

if any thing sell the x2 and save for a square

superjets may be alright up north but theyre ********ters down here in the south.you can find em all day long pretty cheap. my buddy had one and almost couldnt give it away.ill take a 650 sx anyday over a sn and put my sx up against a sn anyday.
