So I had pieced together a motor and sent it out to Art at Jetworks to look over and assemble everything.
I sent him:
61x ported topend with East Coast Cycles Head (Brand new Pistons were Installed)
62t cases and crank bought off a friend (Brand new Crank was installed)
Purchased a Used B-pipe and dual 46 BJ carbs.
Lightweight stock flywheel/lightweight couplers
The ski ripped, well for only about 20 minutes or so. It would then bog and would repeat after cooling down.
Made numerous phone calls, tried stators, cdi's, coils. You name it.
Was out riding this past weekend Saturday ran great again for 20 minutes then bogged. changed my return line setup and rerouted my pulse lines. Ski seemed to be better, until it started to feel like it wasn't tuned quite right. kept screws within a 1/4 turn of recommended settings.
Came home, next day I check compression 160 rear 120 front. I just had the head off 2 days before to check o rings etc. and compression was 160 160. I made sure O rings set properly.
Here is the damage I saw after taking the head off..From what I gather from others, they say a crank bearing went. So I got about 2-3 tanks full on a motor with brand new pistons and crank.....
