Well I started with a brand new 05 roundnose hull.

Plans:

WCF holds
Blowsion reinforcement kit
dual 500 bilges
cut pole 3 inches
4 degree bars
stock chinpad with blowsion cover
underpad and turf

Engine:
62t cases
hot rods crankshaft
riva ported cylinder
ADA Head
fatory b pipe mod chamber
dual 44 sbn carbs
pro-tec manifold
boyesen rad valves
msd enhancer

I'm sure I will think of more, and I will be adding more to this thread as I go. Today I finished scraping the gunk off the tray that was left from the old mat, and got the footholds glued/screwed in. It wasn't too bad.

cool stuff, Id like to see what you do with your carbs. I'm going dual 44's also, from what i hear they seem tricky. If you need help with your ski let me know. We'll have to ride too, riding at goldsburro can get lonely sometimes.

Today I got one side reinforced. I would have liked to do both, but my epoxy was slow, and I had an unexpected event in the morning. I'd say it turned out nice.

Got some more stuff done today. Tray reinforced with 1708 biax, foothold glassed in with some 8oz cloth, and finished reinforcing the other side. I will get some more pics up tomorrow.

Nice Kevin! I got some more stuff done lately. Some red and black carbon/kevlar on the side. That stuff is a pita to work with when its wet, but it turned out pretty good for a rookie attempt. I used aluzene resin.

Got it turfed/gripped. I did it a little differently than most, by reusing the stock railcaps. The caps are not fastened yet, and the dash is an idea at the moment.

I just used dap and they stayed on fine. But I only had them on for one season then just ripped them off again and I'm gonna turf there instead.

I'm usually not a huge fan of the gatorgrip but that colorscheme actually looks really good. It's really vibrant but not obnoxious. Looks really good.

I figured by using the stock caps, and making an aluminum dash plate, the gator grip would not be so overbearing. I didn't want to go with plain ol black diamond turf (it does look good though).

time to buy a kawi...

BAH! I just sold one. I will admit, if funds permitted I would have both. Ripping turns on the sxr is so much fun, they do make good power, and hook up really well. Right now my eggs are in the superjet basket only.

Thanks for the complements guys!
