Well I finially decided to take the plung and into dirt along with my water time. I had a guy give me a yz465 today that is in great shape but it is missing the motor. I am having a hard time finding this motor and I could use a little help right now on where to look or possible is there any other motor options I can use for this bike. Thanks for any advice y'all can give me.

They only made the 465 for 2 years, 80-81. I'm not 100% sure, but I think the 400 and 490 motors were basically the same.

You are probably better off just buying a nice used 250.
