You are speaking of the starter teeth, brushes are internal to the starter motor and would require opening the starter to inspect. Not really a serviceable item unless you really know what you are doing.

Can you post a pic of the nick you describe in the starter teeth? If its minimal and any missing pieces are accounted for, you should be able to reinstall it and at least test it to see if that's the problem before you go ordering parts.

Thanks everyone! Well I got it finally! The starter was just not seated in right... I put it in again once pulling it and felt it side right in.. Yeah that does sound perverted.. lol Once it was in I put 12 to it and it cranked! well hooked up the wires from the ebox and hit the switch and it freaken cranked! My lord this has been a pain in the ass but it was a noob mistake..

Again I want to thank everyone that has helped me out. I have learned a lot from you all!!! I can't thank you enough.

Now lets just hope everything goes smoothly...lol
