Yamaha WaveJammer WJ500 Info?

I realize this isn't the usual ski posted around here, but thought I'd ask about them (I see other ski's on here I never would have thought would have a following, haha). We have an '89 WJ500 that's been sitting since the mid-90's (last registration expired in '98 iirc). The engine is in pieces in a box, but otherwise the hull and associated parts are in very good/excellent condition. The previous owner pulled the engine and disassembled, not sure why. Heck, the factory Yamaha cover is excellent as well and fits great. This ski has sat over a barn for many years, out of the sun and most weather (it's dusty). The soft parts ("pole" pads for example) look like new under the dust.

Does anyone care about these? Any market in parting them out, or special following I should know about? We'd like to clean up the space and I'd hate to throw away such a clean ski and parts without checking first. It has a Protec ride plate, but otherwise appears to be in stock condition.

Thanks in advance!

Somebody will want it, new riders really seem to like those things. Im overhauling a Jammer and installing a 144 pump and 701 engine so it will have the same "go" as a Superjet.

Whatever you do don't throw it out. They are turds but the kind you brag about to your friends not the kind that makes you wonder if there's something wrong with you.

Put it up for sale as is. If you don't like the offers part it out. But don't send it to the grave

Here are some pics of the WJ500. Pulled it down out of the barn and rinsed off the outside. Not too sure what to do with it, looks like there is interest in buying complete, and some interest in some of the parts. Not sure what was wrong with the engine or why it was taken apart, but appears that most parts are in the box. Ski does not have a title as far as we know. Last registration expired in 1997, and previous owner (family friend) passed away.
