Yamaha Waveblaster protec head

So I talked to protec today to order o rings they said no gasket with the protec head just o ring and a thin layer of permatex can anyone confirm this?

You talked to the company that made the head and you are questioning them? Yes it is oring only.

Pretty easy to look at the head and see if it has o-ring grooves or not......

I know that but other people on hear told me I need a gasket as well which makes no sense

I had a pro TEC, and yes an oring seals the combustion chamber and RTV seal the outer permitter water jacket..
