Yamaha VX110 Deluxe

My first post (from Tallahassee, Fla) here!

I did a search on this forum and cannot find any info on the Yamaha VX110 Deluxe (and trailer) that I am seriously considering buying for my family.

If I want to buy a car, I can go to yahoo or google or edmunds or several other places to help inform me of prices, options, dealer invoice, heck even "secret" holdbacks and incentives the dealers get from manufacturers.

Is there a similar web hideout that will assist me or must I let my fingers do the walking and call a bunch of dealers?

It looks like it's going to be about $10 grand, and I need INFO!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry if I missed the answer to this question in a previous post....

Thanks in advance!

Guitarmdx, Welcome to the X.
The question you ask might not get it's deserved answer here. This site is basicly stand-up / freeride based. a more fitting site to answer your question would be www.pwctoday.com There are several sections there that pretain to Touring pwc.
One thing I can tell you is the Yamaha brand watercraft is of the most reliable on the water today. It will be sure to give you many seasons of worry free service.
Good luck on your quest for answers. I hope you come back to the X often to keep up on many of the happenings in the freeride community

Isn't that ski a 2 stroke? If so I can't see it being that much.... that should be the range of the FX140's...

Kbb.com has PWC's on there sight but if you're buying new it probably won't be as informative as you'd like.

Paul is right though, search pwctoday and I'm sure you'll find posts of what people paid for theirs and what is a good deal or not. Good luck with it.

p.s. get a stand-up!!!!!!! LOL

It's Yamaha's entry level 4-stroke. I am surprised it'll cost you 10k...that don't sound entry level to me.

that number is very high. I remember thinking the price was pretty reasonable when I saw it.

List is in the 7500 neighborhood for the 06s. If he's getting charged 10K, he's getting ripped off.

FWIW, the VX110 is an extremely solid and fun machine. If I were buying a couch, it would be one of my top choices, even if it's "underpowered." I've never understood the whole "power is king" argument when it comes to sit-downs. It's not like you'll be doing anything other than riding in a straight line and doing couch 180s - and those things don't take that much horsepower:cool2:

Those are nice ski's. I was thinking of picking one up for a lake cruiser to keep at the parents.

They are stable and still playful enough to have fun. It will pull a kneeboard/tuber/skier with ease.

The price does seem high. We had Texas Yamaha give me a price of $82-- out the door with a two place trailer.

Do a little calling around and you can get that price down some.
