Custom/Hybrid yamaha motor in a kawasaki?

Can it be done without too much modification? I am building a freeride/freestyle ski and from what I am getting from other posts that for low end pop, yamaha motors are the way to go, problem is around my neck of the woods no one has those hulls or motors. I got a 750sx for next to nothing and am in the process of flatdecking it and moving the pole mount to the front. I want the low end pop for tricks. Only thing holding me back is I already have a full factory pipe and mani for a 750sx motor and complete electronics with stator so would it be a better option to sell both of those and go with that yamaha motor or should I stick with looking for a small pin 750 kawi motor? Thanks for your input guys.

Where are you from in ND? Dont waste your money trying to put a yamaha engine into the 750, part of the reason the superjet feels like it has more low end is because it has a 144 pump vs the 140 kawi pump... Put the 750sx together, ride it a few times then sell it...I built a 750sxi with every race part possible, rode it for twenty minutes and liked my superjet more still so I sold the 750..if your around the Bis area Ill let you take my Superjet for a spin...PM me where your at I can help you with your 750sx too

The only way you'll make that ski fast is with an SXR cylinder on a big pin case with a light flywheel....basically, I'd ride it until you can afford something else. For what you will spend putting a yamaha motor in it, you could have a nice freestyle built up square nose 701 ready to rip that'll smoke your hull.
