Other Yamaha GP760

So I yanked apart the motor, the crank is shot and will need a top end rebuild also. The connecting rod bearing is SHOT. It's gone, it's all scattered throughout the exhaust. Luckily the sleeves are still okay. The piston looks really dry. Could this be because of a faulty oil injection? The other cylinder is OK at 150 psi.

After doing some shopping around, I have a choice to drive out 1 hour to PWC Engine and get it fully rebuilt for $750 and be set back 2 weeks between taking off work, dropping it off saturdays etc. Or order a low hour engine off ebay right to my door, install this weekend? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/99-Y...00232786854QQptZPersonalQ5fWatercraftQ5fParts

I want to get this in the water ASAP and beat the colder weather. Would a low hour engine w/ OEM yamaha parts be better than rebuilt?
