try to trade up with someone needing a 750 pump. Life will be sooo much easier on you. i know it sucks, but many have been thru it already. Goodluck

...chaos? Its Fair!
I just did this swap and using a 650 pump was really easy. On PWC today I'm sure some of the x2 guys would take that for trade on a 650 one

Thanks lads that's cool I will see what I can do can you just tell me what parts I would need as well so I can make sure I get it all together thanks again

So guys I'm new xh20, I have been reading a few of the FX pump conversions threads, someone please tell me if I am on the right track here... I have a 650 pump laying around, planning on using that. what I don't know is if I need a zxi driveshaft, or a fx driveshaft works? Ive read about people using both. Also, stock pump shoe or use the 650? Im not good with doing glass work... any help here please?

a zxi 900 or 1100 dshaft will work as theyre the same. The midshaft housing will be reused. however it has to be fitted with a different bearing or have a kawi bearing block machined down to fit inside the yami housing, The 650 kawi pump already has the shoe on the pump case. thus a easier and cheaper choice for the pump upgrade. plus it fits the hull pretty tight and flush.
