ive got a eme q8 with ss865 with a stock sxr pump could anyone tell me what would be the best prop to buy for this setup?

andy theres a guy on pwc forum with a r+d pump stuffer cone and prop, shold be a good job for what u have, all u would need to do is repitch the prop. hes asking £300 for both

just for ref, I run a Skat 16/21 swirl with 5mm setback and R&D Afterburner pump cone on my 900 Kawi powered FX with a Kawi 140mm (same as SXR) pump. The power delivery of the 900 is very similar to my ss865, so it might be a good reference. Let us know what you come up with and the results. I will be putting an ss865 in my other FX with a Kawi 140 pump so I'm interested to see what works for you.

Solas Dynafly 12-22 (Think that the pitch, it the lowest pitch of that series. May need to step up to the next highest pitch. Also look into A Hooker from IMPROS. Contract Dave there. He will set you up.

although the pitch might be somewhat close, the Solas and Skat impeller are two different props which may not perform the same
You might want to PM Radrat. I don't think he posts much anymore but he runs a Q8 with the 865. Not sure what pump he has but he may be able to point you in the right direction. This is him when he came down to Macon, GA for a fresstyle competition. He put the ski together a day or two before the competition too.
