How do you keep the rubber power valve baffle from slipping off. Keeps blowing oil exhaust on my head pipe. Any tips of course its the one behind head pipe.uploadfromtaptalk1377471513320.jpg

Hondabond or yamabond or 3-11 on the lip of the PV where the bellows fits to it. I've used the real thin zip ties instead of the spring gaskets to hold the bellows on the top and bottom of bellows...only draw back is when u need to remove the bellows then u'll need to cut the zip tie and not damage the bellows. Thankfully only reason I've needed to remove bellows was on a top end rebuild/inspection.

Pablo is correct.l recommend using a good quality silicone spray on the seadoo gasket (let air dry) and then a thin layer of 1211 threebond on either side of the gasket.Bolt it down!

Just went thru the same thing! Worked great

I have only had mine pop off once or twice when I first got the engine. It's never done it since. I know there's a thread on it but I can't remember if they ever got down to what actually causes them to pop off in the first place.

Someone posted using an old bicycle tube cut into a 2" band to wrap around them and hold them on.

I dont think he is talking about the gasket leaking but rather the bellow keeps popping off of the power valve top. Blair seadoo 800 and 951 motor did this all the time. I cant see by the pic but the bellow on the xscream setup is held on to the top by a circular band spring correct? If you look closely at that band spring there is a splice point where it is joined. The band spring is merely a single straight spring turned into a circle and the 2 ends are basically screwed together. If you find the splice point you can unscrew it, I believe one side is tapered to a point and one is flat. Cut .25 or .5 off of the flat side and screw them back together so the coils of the springs intertwine. The extra pressure should lock that bellow on the pv and keep it in place.

Thanks y'all. Yes, bellows are popping off on top side. Thinking from running full throttle runs cause just flipping waves they stay on. Fell off half a dozen times now.
