I found that if you take the nut off of the umi adapter, it works alot better. Try it out. Thanks again for the purchase! Enjoy

ok just did that...pulled throttle seemed to give a bit more...but idk still seems like i need some more cable...should i move the throttle closer or farther( its lined up w/ the screw hole on the umi bars
thanks

Is a adaptor needed to hook up the Yami throttle cable to the XMW throttle piece? If so, are they all the same or do I need to a Yami specific one?

yea a umi adapter...but not to be mean or nething...my thread..i would like to get back and running for the weekend...kuz right now the ski wont start w/ it like this

wait, everyone has given you help.
make sure the throttle isnt stuck under the gastank
take the nut off the adapter
make sure it isnt snagged on something in the pole.

if our advice isnt good enough, go to sbtoday.com they'll surely help you.....:haha:

ok so i checked the gas tank and it was on the lower side of it so i put it up behind the battery....fired up...but when turning bars to the left it revd a bit higher ahhh lol

yea sorry no sbt....but went and started it again and turned to the left....was wide open RRRRGGGGGGGGG
tahnks ill try and figure it out

i recommend a throttle cable from a 93 kawi 750. No need for an adapter.

but you will need to do some grinding and modding to get it to work, they are thicker in the manifold area and on top ( hence the reason to not need the adapter)

but mine is working well
