Other Xmetal pole/pinch bolts removal help

Trying to remove an xmetal pole, pinch bolts are stuck in the bushings. I've been through this before but these are stuck chuck. Any tips for backing them out?

I've taken an old ratchet and a small socket I don't care about - stick the socket against the bolt and hammer on the ratchet as close to the head as you can.... Make sense?
