Xmetal box ?

Does the long hose have to be cut to install the box? the long house from rear to box... Looking at it to me it does, just want to make sure.... What did you use to pad the box and how did you do it?

I wrapped mine in turf.

I don't know. Mine was already cut.

If your X-Metal box has the T welded onto it then yes, you will have to cut the hose. Recall that the OEM long hose has a 90 degree bend built into it.
