XFT ride plate issue

i am, this is not for my ski though. regardless, all sjs are the same in that area. i dont understand why this plate wont work. if i grind the area to clear, there will be a huge hole going through the plate. if i shim the plate, it defeats the purpose of the plate design. :dunno:

since i broke my stering nozzle on sunday, i put the xft plate on my ski and gave wifey the WCF one from my boat. i guess im a traitor!!!!!:cat40:


anyhoo, the only way i could get it to work is with a kawi 650 steering nozzle. i did a little grinding on the pump so the cable wouldnt hit. it *barely* hit the pump, but even a little is too much, IMO.

the ratio is much tighter with the 650 nozzle vs a modded stocker....

hmmmmmmmmmm, may have to look into the 650 nozzle, are you using with with a trim ring or just regular??

no trim ring..... but ive seen x2 trims used on an SJ
