x2 question

i just put a head and a mariner pipe on my x2. i am putting a 44 carb on it, and there is a 135 main and a 115 pilot in the carb now. would i be able to turn the screws and get that to run pretty well with those jets?

See if it will get rich enough with the top screw three turns out, if not get a bigger main jet. A 115 pilot may work if the popoff is low enough. Listen to the exhaust at 1/4 throttle, make it sputter a little. The kawi 650 does not pull vacuum like a 750 or a Yamaha. This means that all carb settings need to be richer than what you would expect based on information found here.
